Brunch, Shopping, Work, In That Order.

Brunch at Brittany's Cafe with La Chunk was very nice, except for the horrible contact trauma I was going through during the meal. Anyone who wears contacts knows what I am talking about. Nothing I did seemed to help. I was even in the little bathroom using tap water. I wanted to rip it out and throw it on the floor. So, I bucked up and just delt with it.
I came back home and immeadieatly took it out and soaked it.
And went back to sleep. I think I am in hibernation mode. It was a good sleep, though. Very restful. I think I finally caught up on my sleep debt from the last few days.

Miss Patti just rang me up to go shopping for her sister's party. How nice. I love shopping and parties!
I am wearing my workout clothes for this little excursion. We are somehow ending up at the gym before I have to come back to get ready for work tonight at Babes. I will not lose another day.
I am going to FLORIDA forchrissakes! The land of half naked boys. I need to look halfway decent!

  1. The land of half naked boys? Can I come with you please? Please? I'm sure I can fit in your suitcase! Thanks for the comment.

  2. You'll look fine. I've been to Florida alot and ain't never seen any naked boys. They must run away from me.

  3. I TOTALLY understand the contact issues. There have been times when I really did just rip it out of my eye. Only at home though. I'm blind as a bat without them, I'd be scared if I did that in public. lol

  4. LMAO half naked boys? Damnit Mort where is my invite????

  5. Sorry to dissapoint you, but I have been to Florida recently. On the Gulf side I have never seen so many toothless people in my life. The Atlantic side is nice, and full of OLD PEOPLE.

  6. Caroling through JLand
I love grandma got ran over by a reindeer...or silent night.
    peace and love

  7. I can't wear contacts. I'm just a big wuss when it comes to having anything in my eyes.

  8. Afternoon Mortimer! Please allow this slight commercialism. As fellow exodus journalists/bloggers, we are letting people know of our new blog called, Directory Assistance. We are hosting to the community a list of names and locations of bloggers who had once been AOL journalists, or are still AOL journalists, but who have opened in exchange, or addition an Internet Blog.

Directory Assistance is published by an advocate team of Vivian, Judith, Patrick, Gabreael, Virginia, Vince (me), and Ayn.
We are offering an open community blog that serves as a form of connection between you and community members like us.

You are invited to stop by Directory Assistance blog and leave questions, comments, concerns, or make additions, changes, or deletions of your blog listing. At the bottom and top of the sidebar Directory list, there will always be the most recent html update of people and journals listed at Directory Assistance, changes will be updated daily.

You are invited to copy these codes freely to your sidebar or blog body and update as often as you would like. Again it is a list of your fellow Journalists/Bloggers (who wish to be included). If you like the service, please let others know. At its starting point, there are approximately 170 of us represented on the list. Thanks for being here and letting us stop by. Let us also know your thoughts!

    With all our heart,
    Your Directory Assistance
